As you may know, we also sell some of our goodies on the fantastic notonthehighstreet.com. Danielle, their merchandising manager, got married on a beautiful day in August and was kind enough to share some of her photos with us. Working at NOTHS she had plenty of inspiration and gorgeous wedding bits to choose from, so we're delighted that some of our products helped to create their stunning day! Congratulations Danielle & Mark ❤
They used a personalised apple crate to collect their cards and gifts, and plan to now use the crate in their garden filled with flowers - a lovely reminder of the day! For favours, they decorated our recycled favour boxes with a custom key stamp and filled with little hessian packets of sunflower seeds in mini terracotta pots. Their place names were created by stamping each guests name onto one of our matching luggage tags, which looked lovely framed by a plain white napkin holding their menus.
We just love this guest book idea! They set up their own DIY photobooth area with a backdrop and Polaroid camera, and a vintage school desk next to it where guests could write messages on gift tags and peg them (using cute heart pegs) onto jute twine along with their Polaroid picture.
Their table plan was also wonderfully unique. For every guest they tied a key charm with a gift tag that had their name and table number stamped on. They hung all the keys up on a board with the words ‘the key to your seat’ spelled out in paper bunting and the guests had to find their key to work out which table they were on. Danielle explains that they doubled up quite nicely as an extra favour, as most people took their keys home - who wouldn't want to keep them?!
